Friday's Diversity Series: America's Work: Fisher's Work - Our Work

As we wrap up the semester and our series, our discussions have led us to a closer look at Friday's "topic of From Whiteness to Anti-Racism: Behaviors versus Being" as we continue America's Work: Fish

Date: April 9, 2021 - April 9, 2021
Time: 2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Zoom (register for the link)

Please join us as we learn and discuss various work from McIntosh, DiAngelo, and Kendi. Kendi pushes our thinking on racism as he suggests that actions that create or worsen racial disparity are racist, no matter the race of the actors. So this session is an opportunity for all of us on our campus community to discuss how we move toward anti-racism. Please register by signing up through the link below. See you Friday!

Please indicate in the RSVP link if you are willing to share your personal scenario with the group for us to discuss why it matters, what we could do, and then you can share what you did and why. It’s important for us to reflect and see are there certain diversities that we feel more confident in responding about than others and why that might be. Join us for a journey this week of sharing and reflecting with one another. Please RSVP in the link below.
