60th Anniversary of “Twilight Zone”
On Thursday, Oct. 31, a presentation and screening will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Rod Sterling’s “Twilight Zone.”

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Golisano Gateway Midlevel and Basil Auditorium.
Among one of television's most influential and famous series, created and narrated by Upstate New York native Rod Sterling, the program ran for five years on CBS, highlighting the themes of social justice, the roles of humans in the universe, and the need for compassion and understanding in a dangerous world.
The event includes presentations by Fisher professors M.J. Iuppa and Dr. Tim Madigan; local authors and “Twilight Zone” enthusiasts, Elizabeth Osta and Pete Tonery; and students from Professor Iuppa's Encounter the Arts course. Attendees will also view screenings of classic “Twilight Zone” episodes. The evening is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
