Workshop: Physical Movement
This workshop explores how physicality (posture, expressiveness) affects what we communicate to others.
Date: February 4, 2020 - February 4, 2020
Time: 9:30 a.m. - 10:50 a.m.
Hosted by the Department of Media and Communication
In cooperation with the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival and PUSH Physical Theatre, the Department of Media and Communication is proud to offer a workshop on physical movement to benefit students interested in public speaking, public relations, any medical profession, sales, theater, or anyone who just wants to learn more about how his or her physicality (posture, expressiveness) affects what he or she communicates to others.
The workshop will be offered from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4. While two classes ("Public Speaking" and "VR and Interactive Art") are already attending, there is room for 10 more individual students. Please email Professor Sarachan at firstname.lastname@example.org if you're interested in joining.
The class will be held in the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Athletics Center and will include a fair amount of moving. Sneakers or appropriate footwear required.
