Out of the Darkness Campus Walk
Join the effort on campus to bring awareness to suicide and suicide prevention and to decrease the stigma associated with mental illness.

This event is sponsored by the Student Nurses Association, National Alliance of Mental Illness On Campus, and the Graduate Mental Health Counseling Student Representatives.
Join the walk as an individual or as a team! Registration is free; and while fundraising is encouraged, it is not required. All proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

Online registration closes at noon on Friday, April 5. However, anyone who would like to participate can register in person at the walk from the time check-in begins until the walk starts. Walk donations are accepted until June 30th.
When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Campus Walks, you join the effort with thousands of people to raise awareness and funds that allow AFSP to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. As the leader in the fight against suicide, and thanks to walkers like you from cities across the country, AFSP has been able to set a goal to reduce the annual suicide rate 20% by 2025.
