Say Yes, And: Improv Lessons for Life

Date: March 12, 2020 - March 12, 2020
Location: Cleary Family Auditorium, Kearney Hall

Sponsored by the Department of Media and Communication, St. John Fisher College, and the Keybank Rochester Fringe Festival

[POSTPONED] In an abundance of caution with the rapidly changing status of COVID-19, this event has been postponed.

Improv artist Megan Mack will teach the fundamentals of improvisation, including "yes, and," teamwork, and making character and scenic choices.

At the workshop, you will play theater games and perform short scenes while learning how to "get out of your head" and trust your instincts. This is your chance to strengthen your scene work, explore your comedic voice, and begin to meet the infinite number of characters that exist within you.

Not only is improv fun, but it is also a tool for life: it makes you a better listener, public speaker, and creative thinker!
