Opening Dates & Breaks

The Residence Halls OPEN as follows:

Fall Semester:

Saturday, September 5, 2009 - New Students (Freshmen will receive assigned arrival times in their welcome emails.)
Monday, September 7, 2009 - Returning and Transfer Students (Halls open at 8am, check in ends at 5pm)

Spring Semester

Tuesday, January 12, 2010 - All Students (Residence Halls open at 8:00am)

Vacation periods during the 2009-2010 academic year are as follows (halls close at 6pm on the first date listed and open at 8am on the second date):

Fall Semester:

The Residence Halls are *CLOSED for the following break periods during the Fall 2009 semester:

Thanksgiving: Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 - Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009
Winter Break: Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 - Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010

The Residence Halls will CLOSE for the Fall Semester on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 6 pm.

Spring Semester:

The Residence Halls OPEN on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 8 am. This is the EARLIEST you will be able to return.

The Residence Halls are *CLOSED for the following break periods during the Spring 2010 semester:

Spring Break: Friday, February 26, 2010 - Sunday, March 7, 2010
Easter Break: Wednesday, March 31, 2010 - Sunday, April 4, 2010

Graduation:

The Residence Halls will CLOSE for the Spring Semester on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 6 pm for all but graduating seniors.
The Residence Halls will CLOSE for the Spring Semester on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 6 pm for graduating seniors.

*The Residence Halls close at 6pm on the first date listed and reopen at 8am on the second date listed.
