Campus Ministry Locations
There are three locations where Campus Ministry is most visible:
Harold J. Coleman Chapel
Named for Harold J. Coleman, prominent Rochester native, family man, Catholic leader, founder of the Daily Mass League, this lovely and welcoming worship space was renovated in 1997 and has a capacity of 160 people.
The centerpiece of the Chapel is a marble altar from the Carmelite Monastery in Rochester. The Holy Eucharist is also reserved in the Chapel. The generous donation from Mr. Coleman's family enabled St. John Fisher College to have a large and beautiful baptistery for adults as well as children. Its gently moving water is an ever present reminder to the baptized of their call to a new life in Christ.
Sunday Eucharist is celebrated in the Harold J. Coleman Chapel at 10 a.m. throughout the year and at 9 p.m. on Sundays during the academic year. Weekday Masses are celebrated Monday through Friday at 4:30 p.m. All are most welcome to visit the chapel and to worship with the community.
Spiritual Resource Center (Oasis511) in Ward Hall
Oasis511 serves as an initiative utilizing the arts (music, word, print, etc.), to sponsor, produce, create or otherwise offer a number of speakers, concerts, services, articles, programs and other spiritually grounded events throughout the year for faith enrichment.
Campus Ministry Offices
The Office of Campus Ministry is located on the second floor of the Campus Center.
