Day of Service Hospitality Kit Project Underway
The Office of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Programs is once again asking the campus community to participate in the annual hospitality kit project as part of the College’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.
The office is seeking donations of items including toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, razors, lotion, soap, and other toiletry items. Donations can be dropped off in the Office of Multicultural Affairs (Basil 117) between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. until Friday, January 13. On Monday, January 16, volunteers will help prepare the kits, which will then be distributed to St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center, A Meal and More, Saint’s Place, Sojourner House, and Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network.
Last year’s project resulted in a total of 472 kits.
