Students Collecting for Binghamton Flood Relief

10/17/2011

Three student organizations have banned together for one cause, and they are asking the campus community for help.

Students With A Vision (SWAV), Student Activities Board (SAB), and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) are now collecting donated hygiene items and cleaning supplies for the Binghamton Flood Relief Drive.

The drive started after the area’s flood devastation in September, and residents still need as much support as they can get.

Items are being collected until Friday, October 21. Look for the donation boxes for the project in Security, Wegmans School of Pharmacy, Campus Ministry, and Athletics. Students will be delivering all collected items to the Binghamton area on October 22.

“We appreciate all of the support from the Fisher community, and we’re asking everyone to please help us support those in Binghamton who are suffering,” said Emily Witty, SWAV President.
