The mission of the St. John Fisher College Community Service Department is to provide and promote a variety of community service activities that will appeal to all the members of the Fisher family.
It is our vision that all members of the St. John Fisher College family will be servants of the community.
As the semester winds down and the pressure of finals week starts to creep closer, nearly 140 St. John Fisher College students decided to roll up their sleeves to volunteer for the 2013 Project Community Convergence (PCC), led by Students With A Vision (SWAV).
A total of 11 St. John Fisher College students, faculty, and staff traded in their beach towels for an alternative spring break this year, literally. The group partnered with Alternative Spring Breaks, an organization that coordinates service-learning immersion trips for college students, and made the trek to Harlan, Kentucky, in the Appalachian Mountain region.
