Welcome to Orientation at Fisher!

Saturday, August 30 - Monday, September 1

Fisher's Orientation program is designed to help you make a smooth transition to college. You'll learn about campus life, student activities, academic expectations, campus facilities and support services, and make lots of new friends! Check out the Orientation Schedule.

In short, Orientation is the most significant community-building activity you can take part in at Fisher. Current Fisher students serve as "Orientation Leaders" and are anxious to meet you.

Orientation is required for all new full-time Fisher students, both commuters and residents. It's a fun-filled time for you to become acquainted with the College and to take part in activities with your new classmates, many of whom will become your friends for life.

Why did you join the Orientation Team?

I joined O-Team because it looked like fun and turned out to be my favorite part of the school year and the best possible way to kick start everything.

Three favorite things to do at Fisher:

1. Eat at the dining hall,
2. Hang with friends in the library
3. Chat with professors

Favorite Song: "Running Down a Dream" by Tom Petty

Favorite Quote: "Pura Vida" – "The Pure Life." It’s a big thing here in Costa Rica and I have sort of taken it to heart to enjoy the moment without ignoring tomorrow.

Fun Fact: I’m a big, big Corvette enthusiast and love working on cars every chance I get. It’s the best stress reliever.
