Orientation Information

Fish eye view of Orientation

Welcome to Orientation at Fisher!

Fisher's Orientation program is designed to help you make a smooth transition to college. You'll learn about campus life, student activities, academic expectations, campus facilities and support services, and make lots of new friends!

In short, Orientation is the most significant community-building activity you can take part in at Fisher. Current Fisher students serve as "Orientation Leaders" and are anxious to meet you.

Orientation is required for all new full-time Fisher students, both commuters and residents. It's a fun-filled time for you to become acquainted with the College and to take part in activities with your new classmates, many of whom will become your friends for life.

Typical Orientation Events

Events during our fall Orientation include:

  • Social activities to help you make new friends
  • Orientation sessions to familiarize you with campus resources
  • Family picnic
  • Matriculation Ceremony
  • Much more!

Three favorite things to do at Fisher:

2. Hang out with my friends in the dorms
3. Go to late night!

Favorite Song: "Seasons of Love" from Rent

Fun Fact: I went inside the Green Monster at Fenway Park and I saw Neil Diamond’s signature who sings the famous "Sweet Caroline" during the Red Sox games!
