Welcome 
Dear Friends: Welcome to St. John Fisher College’s website. As you browse through the layers of our site, I hope that you will come to know our campus and the people who make up the Fisher community. This is certainly an exciting time to be part of the Fisher community. Over the last nine years, nearly all of the academic buildings and athletic facilities on campus have been renovated and new ones built. The result of these campus improvements is a classroom environment that incorporates the latest in technology-enabled learning, state-of-the art science and computer laboratories, first-class residence halls, and some of the finest athletic facilities in Western New York. One of the distinctive features of a Fisher education is our learning environment. At Fisher, teaching is what we do best. Here, students find a vibrant and challenging academic environment that sets the tone for lifelong learning. And, the College offers each student access to an outstanding faculty—caring and competent men and women who know how to help students discover their natural abilities and develop their minds. For over half a century, St. John Fisher College and the Rochester community have enjoyed a successful partnership. The College’s nearly 17,000 graduates, many of whom hold leadership positions in the Rochester area, have benefited from the opportunity to gain a quality, advanced education based on traditional academic values. But Fisher strives to develop the whole person—to teach young adults to be successful members of society, to provide for themselves, to look for ways to help in their communities, and to enrich the world in which they live.
