The Wegmans School of Pharmacy at St. John Fisher College held a white coat ceremony on Sunday, January 11, to officially mark the entrance of the Class of 2018 into the profession. A total of 81 first-year pharmacy students participated in this “rite of passage,” which officially welcomed them into the program.
Five members from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education’s Department of Undergraduate Inclusive Education and Graduate Department presented at the TASH Annual Conference in Washington, D. C., from December 3-5, 2014.
St. John Fisher College has received the 2015 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the New England Resource Center for Higher Education (NERCHE). This was the first time Fisher applied for the prestigious classification, and only the second round of national classification done by Carnegie and the NERCHE.
Dr. Christine Birnie, Department Chair of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Associate Professor, has been appointed to serve as Interim Dean of the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, effective immediately.
