Archives and Special Collections

The Lavery Library Archives house or manage a large number of interesting collections, particularly focused on items of interest to the history of the college. The collection includes certain special collections which have limited availability to the community.

Lavery Library holds a number of valuable and important special collections. Rochester, New York was once the home of former slave/abolitionist Frederick Douglass, suffragette Susan B. Anthony, and presidential cabinet member Marion B. Folsom. It is also an important area for Native American history.

Use of these materials is by prior appointment only.
