School of Nursing
The MS Nursing Program is designed to provide a stimulating milieu of academic and clinical excellence that challenges the professional nurse to acquire the theoretic and clinical scholarship needed to assume expanded nursing roles in interdisciplinary healthcare settings upon graduation. The School of Nursing offers three programs: Family Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Specialist, and Nurse Educator.
School of Nursing Program Highlights:
- A new, state-of-the-art Wegmans School of Nursing building will open in the fall of 2007. This 40,000 square-foot facility will feature high-tech classrooms, simulation labs and computer facilities
- Clinical placements for School of Nursing students include two area Magnet Hospitals, primary care settings, and area associate degree and baccalaureate programs
- The programs prepares graduates for national certification examinations
- Dedicated and supportive faculty with flexible class schedules
- Two Post Master’s Certificates are available
