CAPP Information for Faculty
Running a Degree Evaluation
- Log in to Fish 'R' Net
- Enter Secure Area with your ID and PIN
- Select Faculty Services
- Select Student Menu
- Select ID Selection
- Enter the name or ID of the student and submit
- Select Degree Evaluation
- Verify the student's program information
- Click on the radio button next to the program
- Click Generate Request
- You should now be able to view nearly everything about the student's academic history.
- Optionally, you can view previous evaluations, generate a new evaluation, or do "what-if" analysis. A "what-if" analysis is used to determine what requirements would be necessary if the student decides to switch programs.
Generating a "What-If" Analysis
- Log in to Fish 'R' Net
- Select Faculty Services
- Select Advisor Menu
- Select Degree Evaluation
- Enter either the student's ID or at least part of the student's name
- Once you have selected the correct student, click submit
- Select the "What-If" analysis link on the bottom of the page
- You must select an Entry Term.
Note: This is the catalog the student would be following. For example, if they are following the 2007-2008 catalog, select fall 2007. - Click on the continue button
- Select the appropriate program
- Click on the continue button
- Select the only option that appears in the First Major drop-down menu box. Note: This is a combination of the major and department
- Click on the Add More button if you need to enter a minor or concentration. Note: You may only choose a second major from the same bachelor's degree (i.e. BS or BA).
- Be sure CAPP Evaluation Term is in the Evaluation Term: selection box
- Click on the Generate Request button
- Click on the Submit Button
- View or print the evaluation
