Personal Network Space

Saving is very important and must been done often. To limit the loss of data and work you must remember that there are many ways to save work on campus and off.  All students are given 250 MB of network space accessible on and off campus. Student network space is the recommend way of saving because our server is routinely backed up.

Along with your Gmail account at Fisher all students have access to Google Drive.  This allows you 30GB of secure data storage.  Users can create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users.  The free cloud storage feature  allows users to store all types of files on the Google servers.

  • Watch this short how-to tutorial, to access, save, and share files on your Google Drive.

Additionally, students can securely store files on their network storage drive. This storage space, which is backed up daily, is sometimes referred to as the “P” drive.
