MS OneNote 2013

Course Description: OneNote allows users to collect, organize and share information in a non-traditional document format. Clip a screen shot, send a web page or an entire document to a notebook section with the improved Send to OneNote tool. Embed an Excel spreadsheet or a Visio diagram and update the data or drawing from OneNote. Insert an online picture directly from Flickr and other online service without saving the picture to your computer first. Integration with Outlook is improved; connect your notes directly to an Outlook meeting invitation. Target Audience: Intermediate Class Limit: 6 Register for this Session

MS PowerPoint 2013 - Modern Style Interface

Course Description: The Start screen is packed with options including templates, a link to your online SkyDrive account, a list of recently accessed files, and an Open Other Presentations link. The new Themes have a small subset, providing variations in color and design elements. Merge Shapes features are accessible by selecting the Drawing Tools; create your own custom shapes by combining and merging simple shapes. Video input/output is improved and supports the .MP4 and .MOV formats for playing video. Presenter View can be accessed by pressing Alt +F5 even on a single monitor. Look close-up into an area on a slide with the new Zoom option, as well as a new laser pointer tool. Present online with the new Office Presentation Service. MS Word 2013 - Easy Features Everyone Can Use

Course Description: The new Design tab consolidates Themes, Colors, and Fonts into one tab. A new visual element added to the Document Formatting tool allows you to preview a document style before applying. Alignment Guides allow you to line up images and other object in a cinch. The new Read mode re-sizes a document to a full window with onscreen arrows to flip through pages. The Comment Reply button captures an entire discussion within a single comment box, allowing for smarter collaboration. Open and Edit PDF documents without the use of a third-party application and also edit data inside tables or move images around. With the Border Painter tool you can format a table by adding different width and style borders with ease. New table features allow you to add a new row and/or column to a table. Outlook 2013

Course Description: Outlook 2013 interface looks different; it is leaner and less cluttered. Reply/forward messages directly from the reading pane. Peek views give you a quick view of your calendar, people, and tasks. From the calendar view, glance at the forecast with the Weather bar and mouse over a meeting or an appointment to see its details with the Peek view. Outlook 2013 will enable you to manage tasks more efficiently. In Outlook 2013, the Contacts have been replaced by the People Hub, the center for all contact info. MS Excel 2013 - 10 New Awesome Features

Course Description: The Start screen, left edge displays recently used worksheets and a list of templates appear and can be pinned. Flash Fill tool detects patterns and enters data that follows a pattern. Recommended Charts shows a subset of chart types that are appropriate to the data that is selected. The Quick Analysis tool shows a range of tools for analyzing the data. A click of a mouse key can create a meaningful PivotTable by using the Recommended PivotTables. Power View is integrated and is typically used for analyzing large quantities of data from external data sources. Sharing files and work with other people via SkyDrive, share a to-do list, event planning worksheet with social network. Target Audience: Intermediate Class Limit: 6 Register for this Session
