St. John Fisher College has been named a 2016 Great College to Work For®, according to a survey conducted by the Chronicle of Higher Education and ModernThink LLC.
Five St. John Fisher College staff members were recognized for making a positive impact on the campus community during the 2016 Staff Appreciation and Recognition Ceremony. Held on Tuesday, April 19, the ceremony is designed to acknowledge and thank the work of staff members at the College.
The College is participating in The Chronicle of Higher Education’s
2016 “Great Colleges to Work For” program, a study designed to recognize institutions that have built great workplaces, and there is one week left to complete the survey.
The Staff Recognition Committee has extended the nomination deadline for the College’s annual awards through Friday, Feb. 19.
Faculty and staff from St. John Fisher College gathered to celebrate milestone years of service during the annual Service Awards Ceremony. Twelve members of the campus community marked more than 20 years of service at Fisher, while more than 75 faculty and staff celebrated milestone years of five, 10, and 15 years. Together, the group has given 1,090 years of service to the College.
More than 100 faculty and staff members came together to celebrate St. John Fisher College employees, during the 2015 Staff Appreciation and Recognition Awards Ceremony.
The Staff Recognition Committee is seeking nominations for the College’s annual awards, the nomination period opened on Wednesday, November 19, and will run until January 30, 2015. The goal of the program is to showcase staff accomplishments.
The St. John Fisher College Human Resources Department held its annual Service Recognition Luncheon on Thursday, October 16. The event was held in Cleary Family Auditorium, and celebrated 67 faculty and staff for their collective 800 years of service to the College.
Members of the St. John Fisher College community represented the College well at this year’s J.P. Morgan Chase Corporate Challenge held at the Rochester Institute of Technology on May 29. Over 85 faculty and staff participants joined the crowd of nearly 11,000 runners and walkers from 460 companies and organizations. This year’s Fisher team was the largest one yet.
On Thursday, April 24, over 160 staff members from the St. John Fisher College community attended the 4th Annual Staff Appreciation Awards Ceremony to honor six staff members for exemplary performance.
