Notes from the Middle Kids Room
Dear Parents,
October was a very exciting month for our class! We spent the majority of the month enjoying many fall projects and activities, including the hayride we took all around the SJFC golf course! We especially enjoyed our field trip to Powers Farm Market. Thank you to the parents who were able to join our trip!
We have another busy month ahead of us! The first two weeks of November we will be learning about the colors in the rainbow. Each day the children will be asked to wear the color of the day. Please check your calendar in order to find that day's color. We will end the month with a unit about the First Thanksgiving. Our class will be creating many festive Thanksgiving crafts.
Friendship Days will be Monday, November 23rd and Tuesday, November 24th. In addition to learning about what it means to be a good friend, the center will be cooking "Friendship Soup." Each child will be asked to bring in one cup of uncooked pasta to add to the soup by Friday, November 20th. The pasta will then be added to the soup on Tuesday, November 24th and enjoyed between all the friends at school.
The center will be closed Wednesday, November 25th through Friday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday. As always, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.
Warmly,
Miss Becky
