Notes from the Little Kids Room

I can hardly believe how fast the months are going by! It's already November and that means colder weather. Make sure you have two sets of long sleeved shirts and long pants in the cubby. It won't be long before we need all of that snow gear - boots, mittens, snowsuits and hats. Mittens are much better for us because they're so much easier to put on.

We will be doing many finger plays and songs about the turkey bird and talk about things related to Thanksgiving - family celebrations both at home and with our Fisher family. By the 23rd we are asking each child to bring in a cup of noodles or pasta. On the 24th we will have a shared meal. Each class will be making something for the rest of the classes in the center. Noodle soup will be our main course. We will look at the different kinds of pasta. If you don't think your child will like noodle soup please pack a lunch for him / her.

Thank you for the opportunity to learn, grow and play, with your children. They are such a joy and always bring a smile to my face.

You are always welcome to come in and play, read a book or have lunch with us. We're very flexible. The holiday season is fast approaching. Perhaps you'd like to come in and share a favorite book or your own very special family traditions or food: We'd Love It!!! Think about it.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!
Jeanette
