Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program
The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) was created in 1969 by the New York State Legislature to help academically and economically disadvantaged New York residents gain access to the state's private colleges and universities.
For more than 40 years, HEOP has provided educationally and financially deserving students with academic, financial, personal and career counseling support in order to guide students toward educational success.
HEOP and its activities are supported by the New York State Education Department and St. John Fisher College.

"HEOP has been such a great resource for me during my college experience. The most important thing HEOP has given me is the support that I need to succeed. They help me find tutors when I am struggling and they always make sure I am on my "A" game. They have made me the student I am today and I am so grateful for that."
