Majors and Minors Corporate Finance

What is the difference between a Major in Corporate Finance and a Minor or Concentration in Finance ?

A major in Corporate Finance will meet the needs of students who want a greater exposure to finance and seek a career in finance; a major also includes additional accounting courses. A concentration in Finance will meet the needs of students who want a degree in Management but chose to specialize in Finance. A minor in Finance will be most appealing to students now majoring in Accounting or Economics who seek to broaden their skill sets and create a more appealing résumé to potential employers.

All management majors must have a concentration. Can Corporate Finance majors concentrate in Finance?

Corporate Finance majors will not be allowed to concentrate in Finance. They may receive a double major in Corporate Finance and Accounting, or in Corporate Finance and Management, but, if they double major in Management, they cannot concentrate in Finance.
