Internship Opportunities Corporate Finance

To promote student involvement in actual work situations, we also make internship opportunities available to qualified students. Under the right circumstances, one may be able to have these experiences count as the equivalent of up to two 3-credit courses. A former G.M. executive, Dr. Donald Borbee, exemplifies the quality of adjunct faculty working at Fisher and is currently overseeing the internship program. Having worked in the corporate sector for 41 years, starting as Office Boy and rising to Quality Control Engineer, Dr. Borbee brings valuable corporate experience to the classroom.

Positive student feedback on internships supports our own assessment that this work experience is enriching. Employers agree. For example, the Director of Recruiting at Northwestern Mutual has said, “Fisher students have the entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic that Northwestern Mutual looks for in interns.”
