Executive MBA Student Named as 2008 William G. McGowan Scholar

Amy Lok, a graduate student in the Executive MBA Program, has been named the 2008 William G. McGowan Scholar at St. John Fisher College. The prestigious scholarship will help offset the cost of Lok’s tuition in her final semester in the program.

Graduate Application Procedures Bittner School of Business

Procedure

  • Prospective Students must submit a completed application packet for graduate study, along with the non-refundable application fee of $30, payable to St. John Fisher College.
  • The Bittner School adheres to the following deadlines for application:
    One-Year MBA July 1st
    FLEX MBA Fall - July 1
    Spring- October 30
    Summer- March 15

Admissions Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Application form with fee. This application can be downloaded in PDF Format for printing.
  • A personal goals statement
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work must be submitted
  • Two professional letters of recommendation (download the form [pdf] )
  • A current résumé
  • The results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for students whose native language is not English
  • Graduate Management Admission Test – FLEX MBA ONLY
  • Immunization history (required upon acceptance)
  • Interview with MBA admissions committee – ONE YEAR MBA ONLY
  • Course Waiver Form and supporting documents, if appropriate
    (down load the form)

Upon receipt of a completed application, the Admission Committee of the Bittner School of Business and the Director of Graduate Admissions will make a determination based upon records of undergraduate achievement, prior graduate work (if appropriate), scores on standardized tests (GMAT), letters of recommendation, and other supporting documentation where required.
