Thu., March 20, 2014 at 5:30 PMIn 1990, this award was created to honor the achievements of distinguished St. John Fisher College Accounting Alumni. The recipient must not only exemplify Fisher's core values, but must meet three basic criteria of noteworthy career achievement, significant humanitarian effort and outstanding contribution to the St. John Fisher College Community. Steven Terrigino ’89 will be honored as the Alumnus of the Year at the 2014 Accounting Alumni Society Awards Dinner on March 20 at Locust Hill Country Club. Terrigino is partner in The Bonadio Group’s Small Business Advisory Group. He has been with the firm since 1995. The College will also present the Rising Star Award to six alumni at the event. The award is given to alumni who have found success early in their careers, and honorees are chosen based on career achievements, involvement with both the community and the College, and demonstrated potential for even greater success as their accounting careers mature. Fri., April 04, 2014 at 9:00 AMPresented by Dr. Todd Sodano, Assistant Professor of Media and Communication. Dr. Todd M. Sodano teaches classes in television history, video production, and media studies. Last spring, his students created an original, 46-minute dramatic film. This year, Todd’s television production class is producing an original comedy series. His personal research examines current trends in television programming from cultural, industrial, and technological perspectives. Originally from Fort Lee, New Jersey, Todd earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and his master’s and doctorate from Syracuse University. An HBO fanatic, he wrote his dissertation on The Wire and once appeared as an extra on The Sopranos. Mass - 9:00 a.m.
