Gifts to the Fisher Fund support student scholarships; program and faculty development; and technology, equipment and facilities improvements.
There are just two months to go until the 2007 fiscal year – and this year’s Fisher Fund campaign – draw to a close on May 31. Currently, over $900,000 has been raised for the Fisher Fund – just $100,000 shy of the 2007 goal of $1 million. With your help, the milestone of $1 million for the Fisher Fund will be achieved!
To make your gift right now, just click on www.sjfc.edu/makeagift and make your contribution. Or, mail your contribution to the Fisher Fund Office at St. John Fisher College, 3690 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618.
Why should you make a gift to the Fisher Fund? The reasons to give to Fisher are as varied as our alumni! Alums tell us that they give as a way of saying thank you for their time at Fisher or for a particular professor, fellow student or friend who impacted their college experience. Others give to support today’s students in their pursuit of higher education. Still others played a sport like football, softball or basketball while they attended Fisher and want to help today’s student athletes. Some even tell us that they give because they met their spouse or their best friend at Fisher and so the College continues to have meaning to them. Other alumni say they want to help Fisher continue to grow and develop.
Whatever the reason, participation in the annual fund is key. Alumni participation rates are one of the measures used to rank colleges in publications such as U.S. News and World Report. By making a gift to the Fisher Fund, you can help St. John Fisher maintain its ranking as one of the Best Universities – Master’s category in the North Region – raising the value of your degree.
Your gift may be unrestricted or designated to a particular area or fund of your choice including to any scholarship, academic department, student club, general athletics or to a specific sports team. Please consider all of your opportunities to make a gift and support St. John Fisher College.
THANK YOU!
