  "You can go to any city and grab a cup of coffee at a Starbucks, but only in Rochester can you go to Java's. Java's is one of the most unique coffee shops I have ever been to. The atmosphere is like no other place, with seating on comfy couches and chairs, or you can also relax at a nice window seat. When the weather is nice out, they have seating outside, and throughout the year, they have live music. It's a nice place to relax and do homework, and it's also great to hang out with some friends. It's located on East Avenue only 5 minutes from Fisher."

Theater and Music

Bravo, bravo! Rochester lifts up the red curtain, granting many opportunities for you and your friends to enjoy the finer things in life. Fisher is a short distance away from the famous Geva Theater, where you can enjoy performances such as Death of a Salesman or Camelot. If you are a music fan and need somewhere to go after Fisher's on-campus open-mic-night, the Blue Cross Arena and the Rochester Auditorium Center are easy to get to from campus and host the big name bands that will keep you in tune.
