Shante Hand-Fletcher '14

Shante Hand-Fletcher ’14 came to Fisher from Frankfort, NY to major in biology with a long-term goal of becoming a physician assistant.

During her time at Fisher, she has worked closely with department faculty on a variety of research projects, which will come in handy when she interviews for graduate programs.

She credits the biology faculty for being so supportive during her research, teaching her different lab techniques or helping her find a solution when something went wrong.

She plans to continue her research work for the remainder of her time at Fisher, and says she would encourage any biology major to pursue those opportunities.
