Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Donates $1 Million Grant to Create Fisher Prime Care Nursing Center, Increase Opportunities for Nursing Students
12/12/2012Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is donating a total of $1 million over five years to expand primary health care, mental health care, social services, and adult education for Rochester’s underserved populations and to expand educational opportunities for students in St. John Fisher College’s Wegmans School of Nursing. 11/15/2012This September, St. John Fisher College introduced the Online RN-to-BS in Nursing Program, the first fully online academic program for the College. And with one semester under the laptop, the College is busy getting ready for its next cohort of students starting in January 2013. Read More
11/14/2012Christina D’Agostino was recently named the 2012 Nurse Practitioner Student of the Year by the Nurse Practitioner Association (NPA) of New York. She completed the Wegmans School of Nursing’s Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program in August, and is now serving as an adjunct faculty member. Read More
11/09/2012Three St. John Fisher College students received scholarships at the Italian Women’s Civic Club (IWCC) Dante Scholarship Dinner on November 3. The recipients included Dina Berardi, Andrea Casolari, and Elizabeth Palermo. Read More
