03/27/2014At the start of the spring semester, six students and four faculty members received good news and learned that their applications for the Community-Based Service-Learning Civic Engagement grant had been approved. The College’s Center for Community Engagement funded the grant submissions to be put towards spring semester service-learning courses. Read More

02/05/2014In 2012, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield announced a $1 million grant to St. John Fisher College to be used over five years to expand primary health care and mental health care for Rochester’s underserved populations. Dr. Dianne Cooney Miner, Dean, Wegmans School of Nursing, was instrumental in securing the grant. Read More
01/30/2014Students and teachers at the Mbaka Oromo School in Maseno, Kenya, will be receiving seven treadle-style sewing machines to help them sustain supplies for The Petal Project started by the Wegmans School of Nursing in 2012. Read More
