Four grants totaling more than $110,000 will help fund three education and leadership initiatives through the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education at St. John Fisher College. The School’s Charter School Leadership Network, Mentoring Matters, and College Club programs—all of which serve teachers and students in local school districts—each received funds that will support their operation and longevity. The Common Core has been a topic of much conversation in New York State. Next month, two professors from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education—Dr. Jeff Liles and Dr. Michelle Erklenz-Watts—will discuss that and more during the First Friday Lecture series.
