Wilson, Jr. School of Education, and Dr. Christine Nelson-Tuttle, Associate Professor in the Wegmans School of Nursing, presented at the Narcolepsy Network’s 29th Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. 10/28/2014On Friday, October 24, a group of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) members and Service Scholars dressed up in their Halloween best and traveled to School No. 19 to read classic tales to children from pre-kindergarten through first grade for the 3rd Annual Day of Service for the BGS International Honor Society. 10/17/2014Dr. Joellen Maples, Associate Professor in Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education’s Literacy Department, was recently selected by ALAN (Assembly on Literature for Adolescents of the National Council of Teachers of English) to be a member of its Walden Award Committee. Read More
10/08/2014St. John Fisher College received a grant on October 2 from the First Niagara Foundation that will help fund the continuation of a mentoring initiative started in 2012 between the College and the World of Inquiry School No. 58. Read More

08/13/2014On August 3 and 4, the St. John Fisher College Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education and the School’s Executive Leadership Doctoral Program sponsored the “Schools Sharing What Works” symposium for charter school teachers, leaders, and board members from across New York State. Over 100 participants came together to share innovative practices and practical strategies for student success. Read More
07/03/2014The annual Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI) was held at St. John Fisher College from June 30 – July 3, attracting 165 AP teachers from schools across New York State, outlying states, and even some from as far away as Turkey. Read More
