Wilson, Jr. School of Education held an “Education Celebration” to recognize and celebrate the College’s support for education, educators, and community leadership. A group of St. John Fisher College graduate students and faculty took some time out of the busy last week of classes to prepare and serve a warm meal to over 40 refugee children and volunteers from Mary’s Place Outreach in Rochester on April 18.

On Friday, March 23, the St. John Fisher College Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education held a hooding and awards ceremony for graduates of the Ed.D. in Executive Leadership program’s first cohort from the College of New Rochelle, one of two extension sites where the program is offered.

On Monday, February 27, representatives from St. John Fisher College and Jefferson Community College (JCC) formally signed a memorandum of understanding making St. John Fisher an official partner institution in Jefferson Community College’s Higher Education Center initiative. St. John Fisher will offer an Education Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Executive Leadership on Jefferson’s campus in Watertown beginning in May.

Program in Executive Leadership, has been named Associate Editor for "Young Exceptional Children," a peer-reviewed publication produced by the Division of Early Childhood (DEC) of the Council for Exceptional Children.
