Fisher's Extension Site Holds Hooding and Awards Ceremony

On Friday, March 23, the St. John Fisher College Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education held a hooding and awards ceremony for graduates of the Ed.D. in Executive Leadership program’s first cohort from the College of New Rochelle, one of two extension sites where the program is offered.

Dr. Wendy Paterson, Dean of the School of Education, and Dr. Arthur L. Walton, Jr., Director, Ed.D. Program, addressed the 22 graduates. Dr. Pamela Njapa-Minyard, Executive Director of College Careers of Westchester and graduate of the cohort, was the student speaker.

Njapa-Minyard was chosen to be the student speaker by the faculty. She also won two of the three awards handed out at the ceremony, including the Leadership and Scholarship Awards.
