Cleverley-Thompson Joins St. John Fisher College
Dr. Shannon Cleverley-Thompson has joined St. John Fisher College as the Director of Program Development, External Partnerships, and Extension Sites. She will be responsible for providing direction and oversight to build, maintain, and expand partnerships and extension sites for the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. School of Education’s Ed.D. Program in Executive Leadership.
Dr. Cleverley-Thompson earned her Education Doctorate from the College in August 2011. Her dissertation topic was, “Entrepreneurial Leadership and Activity of Academic Deans in Independent Colleges and Universities.” She has a B.A. in Psychology from Washburn University and an M.S. in Education from The University of Kansas.
Prior to her current role, she was the Director of Graduate Admissions at the College from 2004 to 2008 where she oversaw admissions, enrollment, and marketing for graduate programs and doctoral programs. She also worked at Keuka College as the Director of Program Administration for the Accelerated Studies for Adults Program (ASAP). She was a key collaborator in the development and management of the ASAP degree-completion programs at Keuka College. In addition, she was instrumental in the implementation of the international partnership between Keuka College and several institutions in China.
