Victor Salerno ’66, CEO of O’Connell Electric and the namesake of the Salerno Center for American Enterprise, spoke to Professor Tarry Hartmann’s graduate level Managerial Finance class. 12/05/2014Dr. Jana Sacks, Assistant Professor of Finance, will have her research in financial derivatives published in a textbook available December 2015. She recently received acceptance from John Wiley & Sons, a global publisher of books, journals, and online services for undergraduate, graduate, and continuing educations students. Sacks conducted her research over the past two years before submitting her work for consideration. Read More

11/06/2014On Friday, October 31, 33 St. John Fisher College accounting students competed in the annual PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) tax competition, sponsored by PwC. Fisher is one of 90 colleges from around the country selected to participate. Read More

10/28/2014On Friday, October 24, a group of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) members and Service Scholars dressed up in their Halloween best and traveled to School No. 19 to read classic tales to children from pre-kindergarten through first grade for the 3rd Annual Day of Service for the BGS International Honor Society. 10/28/2014Senior Finance major and Investment Club President, Garrett MacDonald, was recently selected to receive the Turn Around Management’s (TMA) top student award, including a $1500 scholarship. Read More
10/27/2014Dr. Mary Kay Copeland, Assistant Professor of Accounting, presented three papers at the National and Northeast Regional American Accounting Association (AAA) Conference held in August and October of this year. The purpose of the conference was to promote the research and application of studies completed by accounting faculty and professionals. Read More
