Marketing Club Announces Winners of “AMA Saves Lives” Campaign

St. John Fisher College’s American Marketing Association (AMA) Chapter announced the winners of the “AMA Saves Lives” video contest on December 6 during an awards gala in the Campus Center Mainstage.  The national contest aims to increase awareness of the need for organ donation, and to inspire people to become registered organ donors.

A total of 19 videos were submitted by Fisher students to YouTube, and garnered a total of 2,910 views to date. Dr. Monica Hodis, Assistant Professor of Management/Marketing and the club’s advisor; Dr. Todd Sodano, Assistant Professor of Communication/Journalism; and Dr. Martin Key, Assistant Professor of Marketing; served as judges.

Students were eligible for prizes in five categories:

First Place:

Kellie Tryniski, submitted three videos

Second Place:

Natalie Sarazyn – submitted two videos

Erika DiNapoli – submitted two videos  

Honorable Mention:

Chelsea Guererri – submitted two versions of Blake’s touching story
