Fisher’s Marketing Club Wins Two National Awards
St. John Fisher College’s American Marketing Association (AMA) Chapter was recently awarded two additional awards from the National AMA for the chapter’s participation in the fall 2011 round of the “AMA Saves Lives” competition. The chapter picked up 2nd place for Most Video Views, and 3rd place for Total Number of Videos Submitted.
Other category winners included the University of Arizona, Texas State University, the University of Wisconsin, and the University of Pennsylvania.
The competition is ongoing, and has started the spring 2012 round. Similar to round one, videos will be judged in the following categories: Best Video, Most Video Views, Most Videos Submitted, Most Facebook Posts, Most Impactful/Creative Video, and Most Organ Donor Registrations.
The chapter is asking for the campus community’s support for round two. People can support by submitting their own videos to the contest. Submissions can be sent to Dr. Monica Hodis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“AMA Saves Lives” is a collegiate AMA initiative that encourages students across the nation to use social media to promote organ donation registration and awareness.
