Management Internships Spotlight

Rick Hahn

Rick Hahn '15

Rick Hahn spent the spring 2015 semester as a project management intern for Entre Computer Services, an IT solutions provider. Rick's responsibilities were focused on clients in small to medium sized businesses. He gained experience in how a project manager deals with projects using industry tools and practices.

"I have learned how to present myself more officially in the business setting. I have also learned several new and more efficient business processes and how they are actually implemented, which is hard to do in a classroom setting," said Hahn.

The most challenging aspect of the job for Hahn was the necessity of thinking outside the box. "I think having the ability to be creative and think about ideas that are not just the "textbook" definition was a challenging part of the job," said Hahn.
