Accelerated Time to an MBA Degree

As a Finance major, you may qualify for the 4+1 MBA program which would allow you to complete your MBA degree within a year of your undergraduate degree.

Finance Internships Spotlight

Stefani Hetelekides

Stefani Hetelekides '15

Finance major Stefani Hetelekides interned with Canal View Financial Advisors, a franchise of Ameriprise Financial, during the spring semester of her senior year.

Her responsibilities involved client preparation and follow-up work for advisors in the office, including Morningstar reports, Portfolio manager reports, and other data collection. She also had the opportunity to sit in on client appointments as a concierge. Hetelekides was named a main support for one of the advisors in the office, which gave her the additional opportunity to share investment recommendations.

By the end of the internship, Hetelekides had gained the knowledge and tools necessary to begin a successful career in financial advising. She was offered a position with Canal View Financial Advisors upon graduation and is now on her way to becoming a financial advisor.
