Martin Attends AACSB International Deans Conference

Dr. David G. Martin, Dean of the St. John Fisher College Ronald L. Bittner School of Business, recently traveled to the Annual Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International Deans Conference in New Orleans, LA. The conference is exclusively for deans and heads of higher education business units.
This year’s conference theme focused on global trends in management education and B-School strategic planning and development. Martin served as a conference presenter, speaking to the Small Schools Network (SSNet) about overcoming applied assessment challenges. The SSNet is an affinity group of AACSB-accredited institutions that have 35 or fewer full-time faculty.
AACSB International is a global, nonprofit membership organization of educational institutions, businesses, and other entities devoted to the advancement of management education. Established in 1916, the organization provides its members with a variety of products and services to assist them with the continuous improvement of their business programs and schools. Fisher first received AACSB accreditation of its management and accounting programs in April 2003.
