Dr. David Martin was appointed Dean of the Ronald L. Bittner School of Business in July 2010. He came to Fisher from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he served as Associate Dean of the School of Business.

Prior to joining academia, Dr. Martin worked in the business sector, primarily in a purchasing/supply chain capacity. During that time, he received certification in Production and Inventory Management from the American Production and Inventory Control Society. In 1982, he began his academic career at Quincy College (now University) as an Assistant Professor of Business. From there, he held the positions of assistant, associate, and full professor at several colleges and universities in New York and Pennsylvania. In 2008, he joined LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA, as the Associate Dean of the School of Business.
