Dr. Hodis became a member of the Fisher faculty in 2009. She teaches Introduction to Marketing and International Business Management. Her main research interest is centered on online consumer behavior and consumers’ relationship with digital interactive technologies. Specific interests here include consumer use and adoption of new technologies, dysfunctional consumption of technology; consumer generated content, as well as vicarious learning and experience in online environments. A secondary research stream is advertising, particularly new media advertising, consumer to consumer marketing communications, and the role of emotions in advertising.
