Charles DeRoller has published a study in the Spring 2010 issue of WWII Ordinance Illustrated entitled “Live Ordinance: The Mosin-Nagant Rifle.” The article summarizes the development of the Soviet Mosin-Nagant rifle series, which was the backbone small arm of the Soviet infantry through the early half of the 20th century.
