St. John Fisher College Investment Club Visits the Big Apple

Fisher’s Investment Club, comprised of students from the Ronald L. Bittner School of Business, visited New York City in November.

The students had the opportunity to meet some of Fisher’s distinguished alumni who are currently working in the financial industry. The alums included Michael O’Conor, Marty Keating, and Ed McMahon. The group made additional stops at the NASDAQ, the New York Stock Exchange, and the set of the popular show, “Fast Money.”

“Our students benefited from the experience, and gained an understanding about the current situation and employment opportunities in the financial industry,” said Jana Berglund Simon, the club’s faculty advisor.
