03/21/2013This semester, a total of 39 students are participating in the St. John Fisher College Study Abroad Program. They are in countries including England, The Netherlands, Spain, South Africa, Italy, Costa Rica, and France, to name a few. 01/22/2013Last fall, a team of St. John Fisher College accounting students came in first place in the regional Deloitte FanTAXtic Competition in Boston. Last weekend, they traveled to Dallas to the Deloitte Training Facility for the national – and final – round, where they finished in 2nd place, landing a total of $10,000 in prizes. Read More
01/17/2013On Friday, February 1, Lynn Mucenski-Keck and Rich Anderson, from the St. John Fisher College School of Business, will be the featured speakers for the First Friday Lecture. Their presentation is entitled, “The Fiscal Cliff Resolution: How it affects individual federal income taxes and financing opportunities.” Read More
Accounting Awards Banquet
Student and alumni achievements are recognized every spring at the Accounting Awards Banquet, held at the Riverside Convention Center in downtown Rochester.
Attended by nearly 200 alumni, students, and recruiters, it is an opportunity for students to meet professionals in various fields of accounting and to be recognized for their accomplishments during the past year.
The Accounting Alumnus of the Year Award is also given out at the banquet.
