03/09/2015Sport Management Professor Alan Pogroszewski was selected as a poster presenter at the 2015 MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference (SSAC) February 27 and 28. His paper, “MLB Jock Tax Index: Quantifying the Monetary Value in After-Tax Dollars,” was selected as one of 20 finalists in the Research Paper Competition. Read More
12/05/2014On November 13, five students from St. John Fisher College participated in the 2014 NYU Diamond Dollars Baseball Case Competition presented by Cray and hosted by the NYU School of Professional Studies Tisch Institution for Sports Management, Media and Business. Majors Attend SEME Conference in Washington
Recently, Dr. Todd Harrison and Mr. Bryson took a group of students to Washington, DC for the annual SEME Conference held at the Washington Nationals Park. Speaking at this event were over 70 Sport Industry professionals from around the country including the Chief Marketing Officer of the NFL, Mark Waller, Sport Columnist Christine Brennan and David Abrutyn, Senior Vice President & Global Head of Consulting for IMG.
