With over twenty years of experience working in the public sector and coaching at the scholastic level, Mr. Bryson offers a unique perspective to our majors. In addition to teaching a variety of courses, his primary focus is on helping students, beginning as early as their freshman year, gain the vital experience necessary to secure employment within the Sport Industry upon graduating from St. John Fisher College.
This process begins with individual meetings designed to explore each student's passion and unique interests and then formulate a "strategy" that includes the use of their Practicum and Internship, designed to develop core competencies and begin the process of networking with practitioners already in the field. It is essential that students entering the Sport Management program understand and be committed to investing in their "dream" immediately upon arriving on campus. Being pro-active and working with Mr. Bryson is strongly encouraged.
